Network IDs for Anime Network
Created for the launch of Anime Network, these IDs embody some of the main stereotypes in traditional anime storytelling.
In the first one, the contemporary iconic illustrative approach combined with the video game-like music took the storyline to a new level of interpretation. The animation was created with Adobe After Effects using solely solids and masks. Each element was animated separately and created in sync to the audio track, creating a tight relationship between picture and music.
This second animation shows a robot excited to watch his favorite show on TV. The live-action was shot with a simple DV camera and the furniture as well as the robot added later in CG.
