		<description>In an effort to promote my short art film "The New America", currently in production, I created these products (poster, t-shirt and notebook), which sponsors of the project will receive and others will be able to purchase at a very limited amount on Etsy.

The Poster: This letterpress poster is 21 1/4 x 15 1/4 in and features 3 colors (black, silver and gold) as well as blind embossed details on a Lettra Pearl 110# paper.

Below you can watch a short video of the printing process. Printed by the ultra nice and extremelly talented people at Keegan Meegan.

The T-Shirt: This limited edition of 165 shirts, seen below, features the New America Logo printed on American Apparel Tri-Blend Short Sleeve Track Shirt (50% Polyester / 25% Cotton / 25% Rayon).

&#60;img src="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_01.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="427" width_o="640" height_o="427" src_o="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_01_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62; &#60;img src="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_02.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="427" width_o="640" height_o="427" src_o="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_02_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62; &#60;img src="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_03.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="427" width_o="640" height_o="427" src_o="http://payload18.cargocollective.com/1/0/11366/2661578/shirt_03_o.jpg" align="left" /&#62;
The Notebook: This limited edition notebook was designed as a gift to accompany the wood artworks produced for "The New America" short film.

These notebooks were printed with vegetable-based inks on 100% recycled papers with offset presses powered by renewable energy. They were also produced locally in Portland.

This 32-page 3.5in x 5in notebook is printed on 100% Recycled Chipboard, 18pt. Kraft and Interior: 100% Recycled Text, 70# White. It uses High Quality Offset Printing with Vegetable-Based Inks.

		<description>This video was created for my self-initiated book project Brasil-Inspired. The book was initially going to be accompanied by a DVD filled with curated content from some of the best animation and design studios around (Psyop, MK12 and Digital Kitchen, just to name a few).

It was edited by compiling various shots of archived footage of Brazilian army members training for the Second World War.

		<description>In 1995 I developed a series of 10 mobiles assembled from found objects, mostly organic matter gathered in the forests of Rio de Janeiro. These included various seeds, seed pods, bamboo, drift wood and various kinds of dry leaves.

Once complete, the collection was part of a solo exhibit at the Museu do Açude. Unfortunately I no longer have photos of all of the artwork. The samples seen here are some of the best examples.

		<description>Every year right before the Oscars, Brian Lourd (Partner at CAA), celebrates with an exclusive list of actors, directors, producers and other key figures of the Hollywood film industry at his home in Los Angeles. I was very excited to be invited as this year's artist who would create the event's invitation.

As seen below, the 750 Deco inspired invitations were laser-cut on a black 100lb Cover Esse Texture paper by Neenah, and accompanied by a shinny silver envelope. The entire batch required a total of 188 excruciating hours on the engraver (about 15 minutes per invite).

I have always been interested in artwork that has meaning, images that can be looked at for long periods of time so you can constantly find new secrets, realize particular alignments and so on.

This very delicate and intricate ABC poster allows children to explore a piece of a forest and find letters amongst vegetation, insects, the sky and forest ground. It was laser-cut on a Starch White, 140lb Muscletone Paper from French Paper Company.

The poster is approximately 12 x 12 inches and does not come with the black backing you see on these photographs. You may purchase on Etsy by following the link below.
